Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

This policy applies only to the QR Reflection app. For the full Inukano Systems privacy policy covering the support site and other services, see the main Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

Inukano Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”) has designed QR Reflection with your privacy as a top priority. This Privacy Policy applies only to the iOS application “QR Reflection” and explains how the App handles data.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Data We Collect

The App does not collect personal information. Specifically, we do not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Name, email address, or other contact details
  • Location data (GPS or network-based)
  • The content of QR codes you scan
  • QR codes you generate or save
  • Device identifiers (including IDFA and IDFV)
  • Usage or behavioral data (no third-party analytics SDKs are used)
  • Advertising identifiers (no advertising features are implemented)

3. How the App Works

The App operates under the following principles:

  • Fully offline: All QR code scanning, generation, and saving are performed entirely on your device. No processing results are sent to external servers.
  • No account required: No registration or login is required. We never ask for your email address or any other personal information.
  • Camera permission: Camera access is requested solely for QR code scanning. Camera data is processed only within the App and is never transmitted externally. You may decline camera permission; QR scanning will be unavailable but other features remain accessible.
  • Photo library permission (optional): Photo library access is requested only when you save a generated QR code to your library. Access is used solely for that save operation.

4. Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through the following third-party platform:

  • Apple App Store: Apple's platform is used for app distribution and in-app purchases. For Apple's data practices, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple Crash Reporting: Crash information may be sent to Apple via Apple's standard crash reporting system. This is an Apple platform feature; we do not have direct access to this data. You can disable crash reporting in your device Settings.

No analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or other third-party tracking tools are used.

5. Data Retention

Because the App collects no personal data, we have no user data stored on our servers. Any data generated by the App (such as QR code images) is stored solely on your device, and we have no access to it.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. Children under 13 should use the App only under parental supervision.

7. Security

Because the App does not transmit data to servers, the risk of data exposure is minimized by design. Data on your device is protected by Apple's iOS security framework.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy when the App's features change or as required by law. When we make material changes, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
